Justin Sun, CEO and founder of the cryptocurrency platform TRON, highlighted recent milestones achieved by his company.
Tronscan data showed that the number of contracts launched on Tron platform exceeded 30,000, of which 638 were already verified.
Sun tweeted that the number decentralized apps launched on the platform grows rapidly. He noted:
“At the moment, it totals 724.”
In addition, the CEO pointed to the instant growth in the number of active users and trading volume.
“According to @dapp_review, the number of #TRON #Dapps reached 719 with 5 new ones added. Average active users grew by near 12% week-by-week and trading volume stayed stable,” Sun said.
He added that TRON’s Dapp ecosystem is growing rapidly.
At the time of writing, Tron has dropped 4.85 percent to $0.0106. The cryptocurrency ranks 19th with a market cap of $704.28 million.
TronWallet’s Latest Version Allows Bitcoin/ USDT Swap
TronWallet, a peer-to-peer digital wallet, has launched the latest version of an app that allows users to swap Bitcoin (BTC) for Tether (USDT).
The latest version will be available on Apple Store and Google Play Store.
The solution will include a variety of attractive features, such as swap of BTC/USDT, low exchange rate and low swap prices.
Additionally, the new interface will have a feature called VIP Tier Feature that would help users decrease swap fees.
Thus, the upgrade will add to the popularity of TRONWallet.
It is worth mentioning that a lawsuit was filed against Justin Sun, the founder of TRON and CEO of BitTorrent, and Head of Engineering Cong Li, accusing them of harassing and finally laying off two employees.
The legal action was taken after the employees Richard Hall and Lukasz Juraszek objected to management practices and some applications developed by the company.
The employees seek $15 million in damages on wrongful termination and labor law violations.
