International Money Express Joins Ripple Global Payment Network

International Money Express (Intermex), a giant remittance services provider, has announced joining Ripple Global Payment Network.

Under the partnership agreement, Intermex can use Ripple’s on-demand liquidity (ODL) product. In addition, Intermex will join Ripple Global Payment Network, through which the company can send money internationally.

Intermex CEO Bob Lisy said:

“We are pleased to have begun the partnership with the Ripple team, and look forward to implementing new solutions on RippleNet and ODL to help drive growth and deliver greater efficiency.”

At the time of writing the story, the third-largest cryptocurrency Ripple rose 10.58% to $0.277198, with a market cap of over $12.5 billion.

On Monday, Crypto exchange BitMEX said on its twitter account that it will support XRP for perpetual swaps against the US dollar.

Cryptolydian earlier reported that the blockchain payment network has issued 500 million tokens from its escrow wallet.

The company has begun February 2020 with a single transaction of 500 million tokens worth $119.5 million released from Ripple’s escrow the same day, data by monitoring tool Whale Alert verified.

However, XRP / USD did barely react during the previous release in January. Subsequently, bullish action on the Bitcoin (BTC) markets significantly increased many of the major altcoins.

On the other hand, Litecoin (LTC), for example, secured 65 percent profits in January, XRP investors were left with little more than a sense of anticipation. The token is up by a comparatively modest 26 percent against its lows in January.

Once again, Ripple was in the middle of speculation over its partnership with XRP as 2020 began.

It is worth noting that, two officials at Coinbase and Ripple are leading a campaign for smart crypto legislation and accountability that would drive growth and boost blockchain technology.

Moreover, the co-chairs of the Business Integrity Working Group ask regulators to understand how they can push the cryptocurrency business forward.
