India’s CoinDCX Enhances Educational Agenda with Two Online Courses

Indian cryptocurrency exchange CoinDCX announced on Wednesday 2 September that it will provide two specialised courses in cryptocurrency training through a new partnership.

According to CoinTelegraph, an organisation called Blockchain Council will provide the online training and blockchain certifications courses.

CoinDCX clarified that the courses will be available through its online learning platform, DCX Learn. “DCX Learn will offer CoinDCX’s exchange interface as part of Blockchain Council’s certification syllabus.”

“The courses will allow learning from experienced crypto evangelists,” CoinDCX added in a statement.

These will enhance the existence of CoinDCX’s educational platform DCX Learn. It also will offer trainees practice sessions using the exchange’s interface for simulated trading experience, according to CoinTelegraph.

In addition, the courses will complement the Blockchain Council’s existing certifications in blockchain technology, Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Hyperledger.

This comes as a part of CoinDCX project TryCrypto. The Indian exchange invested $1.3 million into the project to make blockchain and cryptocurrency more accessible to mainstream users.

The TryCrypto funds will go towards educational initiatives, seminars, and online courses. Additionally, roadshows, awareness campaigns, meetups, community events, community engagement, and product trials are also expected, according to Your Story.

Comments on the deal

“We have seen an exponential increase in demand for blockchain and crypto education and knowledge in recent times,” CEO and Co-founder of CoinDCX Sumit Gupta commented.

Moreover, Gupta believes that the exchange is in a position to arm potential crypto traders, users, and job-seekers with the relevant skill sets to succeed in this industry and work towards the sustainable development of the sector.

He added further that “CoinDCX’s partnership with Blockchain Council is a natural extension of our DCX Learn platform and #TryCrypto movement”. He noted that they seek to open up more avenues for participation and growth within the crypto industry.

Meanwhile, Blockchain Council’s executive director, Toshendra Sharma, said that the partnership with a cryptocurrency exchange will ensure that the training on offer is “realistic and up-to-date” with the latest developments in the field.
