Elon Musk, Co-Founder and CEO of Tesla, has reiterated his being former CEO Dogecoin of (DOGE). Musk shared tweets over his interest in Dogecoin (DOGE) several times. The reason for his interest and closeness to the meme token is yet to be ascertained, but his continuous endorsement of the token through his Twitter handle speaks volumes.
Elon Musk Acknowledges Himself as Former CEO of Dogecoin
The famous CEO of Tesla and SpaceX’s founder has aired a recognition of his position as the former CEO of Dogecoin (DOGE).
He made that revelation through his official Twitter handle’s bio section. And this alone has again caused the crypto community to wonder why he was keenly interested in the digital token DOGE. While members of the Dogecoin community are like always impressed.
Remember that in just over a month after delivery of skeptical remarks on Bitcoin (BTC) Elon Musk apparently showcased his support for Dogecoin.
He wrote “Dogs rock – They’ve got the best coin” back in March 3rd, 2020, which clearly showed Musk was referring to Dogecoin (DOGE).
Elon Musk Emerges the CEO of Dogecoin (DOGE)
As mentioned above, this is not the first time that the Tesla CEO has shown its digital currency support. Elon Musk sometimes tweeted in April 2019 that DOGE ‘might’ be his favorite digital currency.
The well-known technology entrepreneur was elected to become Dogecoin’s CEO on Twitter, ahead of other candidates such as Vitalik Buterin, co-founder of Ethereum (ETH), and Charlie Lee, the creator of Litecoin (LTC). Since then Musk hasn’t reversed its support for the DOGE digital token.
Cryptolydian reported earlier this month that,
Elon Musk, CEO of SpaceX and Tesla, is again cheering for big altcoin Dogecoin (DOGE) just after a month from offering cynical remarks on Bitcoin (BTC).
Musk, who is also known for being a big DOGE fan, has tweeted on 3 March to voice support for the cryptocurrency.
The former tweet was not really related to crypto but just a shoob meme with the caption “Dogs rock.” However, the following tweet — “they’ve got the best coin” — clearly indicates that Musk was thinking about the Dogecoin.
