DLive to Provide Live Streaming for BitTorrent Users

DLive, a Blockchain-powered live streaming community, has  joined the BitTorrent ecosystem on Monday, and will be migrating to the TRO (TRX) blockchain.

Both companies plan to boost the blockchain-based live streaming. DLive also aims to promote services on BitTorrent and use the BitTorrent File-Sharing System (BTFS) as it seeks to decentralize its streaming content.

“With BitTorrent’s 100 million users, DLive is now one of the largest live streaming platforms in the world,” DLive said on its twitter account.

Justin Sun, TRON CEO, said, “DLive is one of the best real-world examples of what is possible when combining blockchain and digital media.”

“Think of how valuable live streaming content is already to centralized social media platforms who take ownership and advantage of their users’ hard work,” he added.
