Imtoken, a flagship cryptocurrency wallet with over 10 million app downloads, has announced supporting the Bitcoin Cash (BTC).
The move allows Imtoken users to make reliable payments with merchants who accept cryptocurrencies.
“We are excited to support BCH as we have one common goal, which is to enable mobile payments. Payments in digital assets has seen a fair growth in recent years, and we are excited to offer our users – with BCH – a way for fast and cheaper payments,” said Imtoken CEO Ben He.
Bitcoin.com exerts efforts to promote the Bitcoin Cash as a P2P coin with all of its business partners.
Stefan Rust, CEO of Bitcoin.com, said, “Great to see Imtoken join the ever-rising activity around BCH as more companies want to take part in this community. With 10 million downloads Imtoken is responding to user demand for bitcoin cash. SLP support I’m sure will come soon as well.”
China-based Imtoken was established in 2016, and then expanded to serve millions of users in 200 countries. Therefore, it became the largest Ethereum wallet in the world.
In 2018, imToken had secured $10 million funding from IDG Capital to expand its presence in Asia and the US.
