
The TradingView financial analysis tool announced that it will integrate the Gemini crypto exchange, developed by Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss.
Gemini has integrated the trading company as a trading partner, enabling its institutional clients to trade or invest directly through TradingView, according to an announcement by TradingView.
As part of the integration process, Gemini is now listed in both TradingView’s Trading Panel and the new Brokerage section.
Gemini gave brief guidance on how to link a Gemini account to TradingView in a blog post today. The crypto exchange has even created a separate section on the website of its platform for its customers to follow the steps in linking Gemini accounts to TradingView.
TradingView was founded in 2011, currently considered one of the largest retail and investor social networks in the world, combining web-based charting, analytics, and a trading platform with social features for users to communicate.
In recent years, the company has been actively developing support for a number of crypto-indices, including those from crypto-exchanges such as Huobi.
TradingView made its first ever acquisition of multi-broker trading platform TradeIt in April 2019, after raising $37 million in a Series B funding round led by Insight Venture Partners in 2018.
TradingView added the so-called CIX100 index in June 2019, an artificial intelligence-powered index for the 100 most powerful cryptocurrencies and tokens. TradingView has listed the index alongside financial terminals of major global publications such as Reuters and Bloomberg, as announced.
Launched in 2015 by the Winklevoss twins, Gemini is a global crypto exchange and custody company allowing users to trade and invest in cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), and others.
The company operates as a trust company that is regulated by the Financial Services Department of New York State, and is considered to be the first licensed Ether exchange in the world.
